We operate a full appointment system at both surgeries.
Please contact the surgery by phone after 8.30 am or in person. If you are unable to keep an appointment please inform the surgery as soon as possible so that it can be offered to someone else.
For continuity of care, patients are encouraged to see the same doctor each time for continuing problems. Regardless of which doctor you are registered with, you are free to choose which doctor you see. When he/she is unavailable you will be offered an alternative.

Our nurses have a wide and varied expertise, providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients.
The District nurses look after our house-bound patients and those with ulcers and wounds, amongst other things. They run regular treatment room sessions in Belford and Seahouses.
Our practice nurses run daily clinics at both surgeries. They are mainly concerned with the management of ongoing health problems and health promotion. One of our nurses also works as a Nurse Practitioner part-time.
We have a midwife who visits weekly and helps provide antenatal care for those expecting babies. We also have a health visitor based in the Belford surgery who provides support and advice to those who have young children already.
Appointments for all the services provided by our nurses can be made via reception.
